Do you travel outside of College Station?
Yes! I am happy to travel however my session fees only include travel up to 20 miles from College Station. Any mileage in excess to that, each way, will be an added fee at $0.70/mile.
How do I book a session?
You can book by following the BOOK button on the home page or any of the session pages. If you click through on a session page, it will take your directly to that session type and you can inquire there. Otherwise, navigate to the session type that best fits your situation to inquire or you're welcome to message me if you are unsure!
How far in advance should I book?
If a certain date is needed, you should expect to book at least 3-4 weeks in advance to guarantee availability for that date. If you are more flexible then 3-4 days should be more than enough time to get a session scheduled.
What should we wear for our session?
I typically recommend neutrals but soft pastels in the spring/summer and earthy tones in the fall/winter are also great options! Try to coordinate without matching exactly.
Do you give out RAWs or unedited images?
No, I do not deliver RAWs or unedited images. Every photo that you receive is professionally edited to match my style and quality standards.
How do I choose the right location for my session?
If you are looking for a specific location, I am happy to travel to your location of choice. However, if you are just looking for a certain look or vibe, we will work together to find that within the Bryan/College Station area. I will help you pick what fits the best!
Can I change outfits during the session?
There are no outfit changes for minis. For typical full sessions, you are welcome to change but that changing time is a part of your session time. For newborn sessions, you can do up to three outfits. For senior sessions, the number of outfit changes varies by package.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Photography sessions make a great gift for holidays, baby showers, seniors, and more! Contact me for a custom gift certificate.
Session Specific Questions
How long does a session last?
Depending on which session type you choose, the time will vary. All times are listed on my booking site. Minis range from 10-15 minutes and full sessions vary from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Events can range depending on your need.
Can we bring our pets?
Absolutely! Pets are a part of the family. Just let me know ahead of time so that we can plan the best spot and timing.
Can I bring props?
You are welcome to bring anything that is meaningful to you and we will do our best to incorporate it in any way possible!
Do you photograph extended families?
Yes, but please reach out and provide that information upon inquiry because extended family sessions require more space, time, and coordination.
What if my kids don't cooperate?
That's totally normal and not a problem! I don't do a lot of "stand there and smile" style photos. A lot of my poses are just prompting them to do things that are fun or cute. Sessions are typically fun, relaxed, and at their pace with the goal of holding their attention and capturing real moments and genuine interaction.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather does not cooperate, I will get in touch to reschedule or find an indoor option if possible.
How many photos will I receive?
For minis you will receive 8 images included in your session fee and you are welcome to purchase any others for a small fee. For full sessions, all acceptable photos will be edited and returned. For all sessions you will receive a private online gallery where you can download and share your images.
When will I get my photos back?
My contracted turnaround time is 7 days for minis and 14 days for full sessions. However, you typically will always receive your photos well before that time, typically within 3-4 days. For real estate and business photography, my contracted turn around time is 3 business days.
Do you offer payment plans?
For weddings, there is a payment plan option. However, for all other sessions there is not. You will pay a non-refundable retainer at the time of booking and then 7 days prior to session you will be required to pay the remaining balance.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes, as required by Texas state law, sales tax is applied to all sessions and digital images.
